When Todd Energy’s new Bentec Model Euro Rig 450t drilling rig arrives in Taranaki in early 2014, it will come in a ground-breaking custom colour scheme that has been designed to soften its impact on the local environment.This ‘visual quiet’ is a successful outcome for Eve Kawana-Brown, Massey University’s Taranaki-based Business Development Manager and Andrew Clennett, Todd Energy’s General Manager Operations, who were looking to improve the experience of hosting this rig for the local Tikorangi community.
